Dr. John Lancaster is a North Carolina native who has been interested in a career in health care since he was a child. His focus shifted towards a more holistic approach to health and healing when he experienced incredible results with chiropractic care after a rock climbing accident in college.
After an extended period living and working around the world in a number of different fields, Dr. Lancaster returned to Life University in Marietta, Georgia where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated as the valedictorian of his class.
After learning the traditional chiropractic approach at Life University, he expanded his education by studying Structural Corrective chiropractic care as well as prenatal and pediatric care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Though he was already helping lots of people with their neck and back pain through traditional chiropractic he knew he wanted to do more so he continued with years of post graduate studies to correct Atlas Displacement Complex. Through this work Dr. Lancaster has found a truly comprehensive solution to help people find hope and relief from a variety of chronic problems.
Dr. Lancaster works with patients of all ages and stages of life and particularly enjoys working with pregnant women. Not only does he help them deal with aches and pains of pregnancy but more importantly, to help facilitate proper nerve system function so their bodies can better provide for their developing baby.
As a North Carolina native, Dr. Lancaster is happy to be back in his home state after four years of living and working on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. He is married to Olly Lancaster and together they have a beautiful baby boy, Jeremy. When he isn’t at the office you can find him spending quality time with his family in the local parks and greenways. He is certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and volunteers his animal chiropractic services with CORRAL Riding Academy, Horse & Buddy Therapeutic Riding Academy and Wags4Tags. He enjoys living an active healthy lifestyle and physical activities/hobbies such as: strength training, surfing, kitesurfing, playing guitar, hiking, camping and anything involving his son.
Dr. Lancaster loves living in and serving the Research Triangle and hopes to create a healthier community through education and the highest quality Structural Chiropractic care available. He looks forward to being your local chiropractor!
